Phone calls and text messages

Calls to our facilities may be answered by an automated assistant. Calls may be recorded and transcribed to handle your request, for quality, and for training.

We send text messages only when you ask for them, such as a reservation or payment link or a sign-in code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

Bank account connections through Plaid

When you choose to pay by bank account, we use Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to connect to your financial institution. By connecting your account, you grant Flex Storage and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

Plaid gives us the account and routing numbers, account type, account name, and institution name for the account you select. We use them only to set up and process payments for your rental. We never receive your bank username or password, and we do not sell or rent bank account information or use it for advertising.

Keeping information secure

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your rental or account is active and afterward as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your requests

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond as required by law, and we may need to keep some information to complete your rental or meet legal duties.
